Jalios is a spin-off from Dyade in France. Jalios developed the Pharos
software, a core collaboration platform of the knexsis VCM. Pharos is
basically an advanced collaborative filtering tool. It provides a way to
share annotations on Web documents in forums (also called channels).
Annotations are a kind of structured meta-data that anyone can attach to any
Web document. Pharos computes a personalized recommendation for each
document which is the synthesis of the annotations link to this document.
