Martin R. Dugage - Project Director

Martin developed the idea of  knexsis with Gilbert Brault and Chris Edmonds. He initiated and launched the project with seed money from Schneider Electric..

Martin held the position of Director - New Projects of Schneider Electric’s Automation Business in North Andover, MA. There, he launched the development of a new range of PLC products and negotiated strategic R&D partnerships for the company. He was previously the VP of Strategy and Marketing of NUM, the CNC subsidiary of Schneider in Paris where he initiated the renewal of the product range.

Martin is a former Management Consultant with SRI International, and has specialized for five years in strategy and marketing for IT, Telecom, Electronic and Industrial Automation companies. He started his career as as aerospace engineer as a member of  the Rafale A project team at Dassault Aviation.

Martin graduated from the Ecole des Mines in Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Gilbert Brault - Product Development

Before co-founding knexsis, Gilbert occupied many different positions inside Schneider Electric’s Automation branch around Project Management, Software development, Product Marketing, Field support, Machine Building.

Gilbert cumulates 15 years of experience in Factory Automation in various assignments and holds three patents in Web enabling communication components for logic controllers

Gilbert holds a mechanical bachelor's degree from ENSMB and a Ph.D in Industrial Automation from the University of Besancon (France)
